Do I have to bring an offering? In 2 Corinthians 8:12, the scriptures tells us to give out of our hearts and not out of impulse. Offering is collected during service in the form of money. However, each person is commanded to give according their personal decision. Therefore, giving of an offering is encouraged according to the bible but we do not ask out of mandate.
What to wear to church, is there a dress code? We are excited that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. Some prefer to be simple and casual,still others prefer to still put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress. Feel free to come as you are!
Does the church partake in Communion/ the Lord's Supper? Communion or the Lord’s Supper is a Christian practice that was introduced by Jesus before he was arrested and crucified. He admonished his followers at the time continue this practice as a remembrance of his death and resurrection (Luke 22: 19-20). In our church we follow this practice by sharing bread and non-alcoholic wine once a month on the first Sunday of every month. We invite all believers in Jesus Christ to join us in dinning with the Lord.
